Tyger T1 and T2 Roll-Up Covers: Sheets, Part Numbers and Listings

Tyger is the brand we point to most, for a plain reason: its titles name the years, bed and part number, and many of its sheets are readable before you buy. Buy one if your exact part is titled. Skip it if you want a metal lid.

The short version

Tyger's T1 is a soft roll-up with titles that name years, bed and part number. Sheets we could read list a ratchet wrench, a 10 mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver, with no drilling step. Some newer parts' sheets were missing or are scans. Those are marked listing data only, and they get a start-here label instead of a pick.

Fit as the listing title states it. Check your exact year and bed length on the listing before you buy. Swipe sideways on a phone.

Others are on each truck page: F-150, Tacoma, Ram 1500, Tundra, Silverado, and the rest.

Buy it if, skip it if

Buy it if

  • You want a title that names years, bed and part number
  • You want to read the sheet before you buy
  • You are in the budget price class

Skip it if

  • You want a metal lid
  • You need a sheet for a new body: several were missing
  • You have a RamBox or a split tailgate: the titles do not address them

Sheets we could read, and could not

We could open T1 sheets for these parts: F9029, F9023, F9028, T9044, T9037, T9041, T9042, T9038, T9039, D9046, D9018, D9014, C9053, C9054 and C9007. Those are the covers on this site that carry a pick badge.

We could not open F9064, F9066, T9204, T9202, T9062, T9063, C9206, N9057, H9065 or the T2 sheets we looked for. F9127 is a scan with no readable text. So the 2021-2026 F-150, 2024-2026 Tacoma, 2022-2026 Tundra and 2017-2026 Super Duty covers are "Start here" at most. A missing sheet does not make those covers worse. It means we cannot check them.

What the sheets ask

Here is what the T1 sheets we read have in common:

  • Tools. Ratchet wrench, 10 mm socket and Phillips screwdriver.
  • No drilling step.
  • Clamps. Evenly spaced, about 6 to 8 inches from the ends. Not tightened until positioned.
  • Liner. Over-the-rail liners need small 2 x 4 in holes cut for the clamps.
  • Track rail. Nissan and Toyota trucks with a factory utility track rail get separate clamp instructions.
  • Crossbars. Arched upward.
  • Latch. Clip gap under 1/16 in. Latch down before closing the tailgate.
  • Tension. Plate moves in steps of 1/8 in.

The whole sequence is in how to install, and the troubleshooting is in latch fixes and leak fixes.

What Tyger's titles teach you

Tyger's titles are a handy cheat sheet for the rest of the market. They show where the year blocks fall, which body counts as which, and that a Classic and an LD need their own treatment. Other titles can be read against them. Tyger's own titles disagree in places too: the Ram Classic runs to 2025 at 5 ft 7 in and to 2024 at 6 ft 4 in. See the Ram page.

Alternatives

If Tyger has no title for your truck or you want a warranty stated in a document, look at Gator or TruXedo. For a metal lid, see hard roll-ups.

If you have your part number, you can also search for the sheet by that number before you buy. It may have appeared since we looked.

What owners ask

What is the difference between Tyger's T1 and T2?

We could read T1 sheets, but not the T2 sheets we looked for. On the F-150, the T2 title runs 2015-2026, while T1 titles split at 2021. We make no claim about what else differs.

Where can I find my sheet?

The sheets we read were hosted by CARiD, using the part number in the file name. Tyger's own site blocked us. Try the part number in your title, or ask the seller for the sheet.

What is Tyger's warranty?

We did not find warranty terms in the sheets we read, and Tyger's own site was blocked. Check the listing or ask the seller. We will not print a term we have not read.

How do I clean a Tyger cover?

Tyger's sheet says regular soap and water, and to avoid abrasive cleaners. See our cleaning guide for what other makers say as well.

Truck fit and buying advice

We are the editorial team at rolluptonneaucover.com. We read listing titles, maker install sheets and truck makers' own bed specifications and sort them truck by truck, with sources on every page. Nobody here has bolted these covers to a truck, and nothing was measured in a lab. We say so plainly.
