Ram 2500 and 3500 Tonneau Cover: Roll-Up Options by Year and Bed

Most Ram heavy-duty covers we found also name the 1500. Tyger's 6 ft 4 in title lists 2500 and 3500 years by name, with a readable sheet. An unbranded title covers 8 ft. RamBox owners: the same warning applies here as on the 1500.

The short version

For a 2010-2026 Ram 2500 or 3500 with the 6 ft 4 in bed, buy the Tyger T1 titled 6 ft 4 in (76 in), part TG-BC1D9014. For the 8 ft bed, an unbranded title names 2003-2025 at 96 to 98.3 inches, listing data only. TruXport's title runs 2009-2027 with no bed. MOSTPLUS rules out RamBox, so check yours.

Our pick: 2009-2018 and Classic, 6 ft 4 inAd

Tyger T1 (2009-2018 Ram 1500, 2500/3500, Classic, 6'4")

Soft roll-up cover whose listing title reads: 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500; 2010-2026 2500 3500; 2019-2024 Classic | 6'4" (76") Bed | TG-BC1D9014.

Fits, according to the listing (maker's sheet read)

2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500; 2010-2026 2500 3500; 2019-2024 Classic | 6'4" (76") Bed | TG-BC1D9014 (read November 3, 2026)

Check your exact year and bed length on the listing before you buy.

Why here: Title names the 2010-2026 2500 and 3500, the bed, inches and part number, and that sheet is readable. Buy it if you have that bed. Skip it if you have the 8 ft bed.

Why buy it

  • The part number in the title ties the listing to Tyger's own sheet
  • That sheet uses clamps, a ratchet with a 10mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver, with no drilling step
  • The sheet covers crossbars, the latch gap and a tension plate for adjusting the fit

Why skip it

  • Over-the-rail bed liner: the sheet says small 2 x 4 inch holes must be cut in the liner
  • Vinyl cover; no weight rating appears on the sheet

These do not agree on where the run begins or ends, so check that your own year falls inside the title. Read each full listing for how it treats the 3500.

The 8 ft bed

The unbranded 8 ft title reads "2002-2018 Dodge Ram 1500, 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic, 2003-2025 Ram 2500/3500, 8FT, 96"-98.3"". Giving a range of inches is more helpful than most, and you can check it against your own tape. But it is listing data only, with no sheet behind it. Ask the seller to confirm.

RamBox

MOSTPLUS's title says "No RamBox". Tyger's does not address it. If your truck has one, read the RamBox page before you buy. Its advice applies here as well, even though the wording there is about the 1500.

Hard roll-ups

BAK's Revolver titles we pulled for Ram cover the 1500. We did not find a hard roll-up titled for the 2500 or 3500. If you want one, ask RealTruck or a dealer. Hard roll-ups has what these covers ask in general.

The install

The T1 sheet for this part follows the usual steps: ratchet wrench, 10 mm socket, Phillips screwdriver, and no drilling step. Clamps go on evenly, about 6 to 8 inches from the ends. Over-the-rail liners need small 2 x 4 in holes. Those trucks often work hard, so re-check clamps after a week, as Gator's sheet advises for its covers. See how to install.

Before you order

  • Check that the title names 2500 or 3500, not only the 1500.
  • Check your year against the table above.
  • Check the bed in inches.
  • If you have a fifth-wheel or gooseneck hitch, a toolbox or anything else in the bed, read the sheet and ask. No title we read mentions them, and cargo must not contact a soft cover's tarp, says Gator.

Older 1500 owners can also use the 2009-2018 page.

What owners ask

Does a 1500 cover fit a 2500?

Only if the title names the 2500. Tyger's 6 ft 4 in title does, and its 5 ft 7 in title does not. Do not assume they share a cover because the bed sounds alike.

Which years does the Tyger T1 name?

It says 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500, 2010-2026 2500 and 3500, and 2019-2024 Classic, all at 6 ft 4 in (76 in). Rough Country's says 1500 (2010-2018) and 2500 (2010-2025), fits 6 ft 4 in.

What about a 3500 dually?

Nothing in the titles we read addresses a dually bed. A bed with different sides may behave differently, so ask the seller to confirm and give your measured inside length.
