Ram 1500 Tonneau Cover: Roll-Up Options by Year and Bed
Ram covers split at the 2019 body. Then come three traps: the Classic, which counts as the older body in most titles; the RamBox; and the split tailgate. Read the exclusions in the title as closely as the years.

The short version
For a 2019-2026 Ram 1500 with the 5 ft 7 in bed, Tyger's T1 titled 5 ft 7 in (67 in), not fit 19-24 Classic, is the pick. For 6 ft 4 in, Gator's title names that bed and rules out the split tailgate and RamBox. For 2009-2018 and Classic trucks, Tyger has one cover per bed.

The Classic trap
Titles treat the Classic as the older body, even in years when the new body was on sale. So the year on your registration does not settle which cover you need. A 2021 Ram 1500 can be either.
Tyger's titles draw the line in plain words. The new-body T1 and T2 say "Not Fit 19-24 Classic". The older-body 5 ft 7 in title adds "2019-2025 Classic". The older-body 6 ft 4 in title adds "2019-2024 Classic". That is one maker giving two different end years for the Classic, depending on the bed. We print both as stated and do not choose between them. If you have a late Classic, ask the seller.
MOSTPLUS adds to the confusion. One title reads "2009-2026 Dodge Ram 1500 New Body Style". Those years run across the 2019 split that other titles respect. That cover is on our RamBox page as listing data only, and we would want the seller's word before ordering it.
Bed names
These are the names you will meet. Ram's older documents say 5 ft 7 in, 6 ft 4 in and 8 ft. A 2016 Ram brochure puts Regular Cab at 8 ft and 6 ft 4 in, Quad Cab at 6 ft 4 in, and Crew Cab at 5 ft 7 in and 6 ft 4 in. A 2009 press kit agrees on those lengths. We could not open a current Ram specification sheet, so treat those as older documents. Titles add inches: Tyger 5 ft 7 in (67 in) and 6 ft 4 in (76 in), Gator 6 ft 4 in (76.8 in), MOSTPLUS 5.7 ft and 68 inches.

Tyger T1 (2019-2026 Ram 1500, 5'7")
Soft roll-up cover whose listing title reads: 2019-2026 Ram 1500 (Not Fit 19-24 Classic) | 5'7" (67") Bed | TG-BC1D9046.
Fits, according to the listing (maker's sheet read)
2019-2026 Ram 1500 (Not Fit 19-24 Classic) | 5'7" (67") Bed | TG-BC1D9046 (read November 3, 2026)
Check your exact year and bed length on the listing before you buy.
Why here: Title names the bed and rules out the Classic, and the maker's sheet is readable. Buy it if that is your bed on the new body. Skip it if you have a Classic.
Why buy it
- The part number in the title ties the listing to Tyger's own sheet
- That sheet uses clamps, a ratchet with a 10mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver, with no drilling step
- The sheet covers crossbars, the latch gap and a tension plate for adjusting the fit
Why skip it
- Over-the-rail bed liner: the sheet says small 2 x 4 inch holes must be cut in the liner
- Vinyl cover; no weight rating appears on the sheet
- Style
- Soft roll-up
- Material
- Soft vinyl
- Install
- Clamp-on, per maker sheet
- Price class
- Mid-range
Hard covers for the Ram are on the new body page. Heavy-duty owners go to Ram 2500 and 3500. If in doubt, measure your bed.
Not sure about your cab? It narrows your bed but does not replace it. See does cab size matter.
What owners ask
Is the Ram 1500 Classic the old body or the new body for covers?
In the titles we read, the Classic goes with the older body. Tyger's 2019-2026 title says Not Fit 19-24 Classic, and its 2009-2018 titles add the Classic by name. Check the Classic years, because Tyger's own titles differ by bed.
What bed lengths does the Ram 1500 have?
A 2016 Ram brochure lists Regular Cab with 8 ft and 6 ft 4 in, Quad Cab with 6 ft 4 in, and Crew Cab with 5 ft 7 in and 6 ft 4 in. We could not read a current Ram specification sheet, so check your own truck.
Will a cover fit a Ram with RamBox?
Only if the listing says so. Gator's 6 ft 4 in title says WON'T Fit Multi-Function (Split) Tailgate or RAMBox, and MOSTPLUS titles say Without Rambox or No RamBox. We found no Tyger title that addresses it either way, so ask.
Do the Ram 2500 and 3500 use the same covers?
Some titles name them together, like Tyger's 6 ft 4 in title for 2009-2018 1500 with 2010-2026 2500 and 3500. Others are for the 1500 alone. See the Ram 2500 and 3500 page.
