The short version

On a 2007-2013 Tundra, buy the Tyger T1 for your bed: Fleetside 5.5 ft (66 in), part TG-BC1T9038, or 6.5 ft (79 in), part TG-BC1T9039. For 8 ft, the title we found is R5's for 2007-2021, listing data only. Gator's and TruXedo's titles span 2007-2021 too, so check the bed with those sellers.

Tyger T1 (2007-2013 Tundra, 5.5 ft)

Soft roll-up cover whose listing title reads: 2007-2013 Toyota Tundra | Fleetside 5.5' Bed (66") | TG-BC1T9038.

2007-2013 Toyota Tundra | Fleetside 5.5' Bed (66") | TG-BC1T9038 (read November 3, 2026)

Check your exact year and bed length on the listing before you buy.

Why here: Title names years, Fleetside bed, inches and part number, and that sheet is readable. Buy it if you have the short bed. Skip it if you have a longer one.

Why buy it

  • The part number in the title ties the listing to Tyger's own sheet
  • That sheet uses clamps, a ratchet with a 10mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver, with no drilling step
  • The sheet covers crossbars, the latch gap and a tension plate for adjusting the fit

Why skip it

  • Over-the-rail bed liner: the sheet says small 2 x 4 inch holes must be cut in the liner
  • Vinyl cover; no weight rating appears on the sheet

The 8 ft bed

R5's title reads "2007-2021 Toyota Tundra 8ft Bed". That is one line with no inches and no part number, and we could read no sheet. It is the one cover here naming that bed, so it is your start point, but only with the seller's word. Give them your year, cab and measured bed.

The spans

Gator's title runs 2007-2021 at 5 ft 7 in. TruXedo Lo Pro's runs 2007-2021 with no bed named. Tyger, however, splits that same run at 2014. If two sellers treat one run of years differently, it does not tell you who is wrong. It tells you to ask, or to go with the one you can check against a sheet.

An older truck has a history

A truck from this block has had years of use. Before you buy anything, take five minutes to walk around the bed:

  • Rails. Clamps have to seat on the bed rail, and the side rail has to line up with its inner edge. Dents and caps get in the way.
  • Liner. An over-the-rail liner needs small 2 x 4 in holes for the clamps, says Tyger. See bed liners.
  • Tailgate. If the tailgate has been replaced or sits differently, the rear seal may not touch. Tyger's troubleshooting says to move the whole assembly toward the tailgate if the cover falls short.
  • Front bed rail. If it sits low, apply the front seal strip, says Tyger.
  • Track rail. Toyota trucks with a factory utility track rail get separate clamp instructions, attached to the sheet.

After installing

Keep vinyl clean with regular soap and water, and no abrasive cleaners, says Tyger. Gator adds no vinyl conditioners, because they can shrink the vinyl. See how to clean a vinyl cover. Re-check the clamps after the first week and periodically after that, as Gator's sheet advises.

If water pools on the cover, look at the crossbars first. Tyger's sheet says they must arch upward. More in leak fixes, and for a latch that misbehaves, latch fixes.

Your Tundra is a 2014 or later? Go to 2014-2021 or 2022-2026.

If the rails or tailgate on your truck have been changed, tell the seller when you ask about fit.

What owners ask

Why does Tyger's 6.5 ft title say 79 here and 78 on the next block?

We cannot tell from the titles. It could be a real difference or rounding. Toyota's 2025 brochure gives 77.6 inches for a 6.5 ft bed, but that is a later body. Measure yours and ask the seller.

Is there a Tyger for the 8 ft bed?

We did not find one in the titles we pulled. The only 8 ft title for this block is from R5, listing data only. Ask its seller to confirm your cab and year.

Can I use a 2014 cover on a 2013?

Tyger's titles keep them apart. Gator's, TruXedo's Lo Pro and BAK's titles span the two. Follow your cover's own title, and do not stretch one to cover a year it does not state.
