Roll Up Tonneau Cover

Truck fit

2009-2014 F-150 Roll-Up Tonneau Covers by Bed

On the 2009-2014 F-150, the documented choice is for the 6.5 ft box, not the short one. Tyger's T1 names Styleside 6.5 ft (78 in), and the sheet is readable. For the short box we found only one wide-span title, listing data only.

The short version

For a 2009-2014 F-150 with the 6.5 ft Styleside box, buy the Tyger T1 titled 78 in, part TG-BC1F9023. For the short box, the only cover we found is a MOSTPLUS whose title runs 2009-2026 at 66 and 67 inches, marked listing data only. Ask its seller to confirm your exact truck before you buy.

Our pick: 2009-2014 F-150Ad

Tyger T1 (2009-2014 F-150, 6.5 ft)

Soft roll-up cover whose listing title reads: 2009-2014 Ford F-150 | Styleside 6.5' Bed (78") | TG-BC1F9023.

Fits, according to the listing (maker's sheet read)

2009-2014 Ford F-150 | Styleside 6.5' Bed (78") | TG-BC1F9023 (read November 3, 2026)

Check your exact year and bed length on the listing before you buy.

Why here: Title names years, Styleside 6.5 ft, inches and part number, and that sheet is readable. Buy it if you have that box. Skip it if yours is the short box.

Why buy it

  • The part number in the title ties the listing to Tyger's own sheet
  • That sheet uses clamps, a ratchet with a 10mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver, with no drilling step
  • The sheet covers crossbars, the latch gap and a tension plate for adjusting the fit

Why skip it

  • Over-the-rail bed liner: the sheet says small 2 x 4 inch holes must be cut in the liner
  • Vinyl cover; no weight rating appears on the sheet

Why this page is short on choices

We list only covers whose titles name the truck, and that leaves two. That is not the whole market. Plenty of sellers offer covers for these trucks, but in the data we pulled, few of the titles were clear enough to stand behind. We would rather show you two lines we can read than ten we cannot.

The Tyger sheet for this part follows the same pattern as the other T1 sheets. Tools are a ratchet wrench, a 10 mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver. There is no drilling step. Clamps go on evenly, about 6 to 8 inches from the ends. The steps are summarized in how to install a roll-up cover.

The one short-box listing

The MOSTPLUS title reads "Ford F150 F-150 2009-2025 2026 Short Bed On Top (66/67Inch)". Note how far those years run. Tyger, by contrast, sells separate covers for 2015-2020 and for 2021-2026.

It might still fit. Nobody here has put it on a truck. But a title that wide needs the seller's word for your exact truck, and for that reason it does not get a pick badge. Give the seller your year, your cab and your measured box length.

Older trucks and worn beds

Trucks of this age often carry things a newer truck does not. Think through these before you order:

  • Bed liner. Tyger's sheets call for small 2 x 4 in holes cut for the clamps if the liner goes over the rail. See bed liners.
  • Rail condition. Clamps bear on the bed rail. If yours has damage where a clamp lands, check your options before you tighten.
  • Front seal. If the front bed rail sits low, Tyger's troubleshooting says to apply the front seal strip.

After installing

Check the crossbars arch upward so water does not pool, keep the clip gap under 1/16 in and re-check the clamps after a while on the road. Gator's sheet says a week, then periodically, and that is sensible on any clamp-on cover. Cleaning is regular soap and water, with no abrasive cleaners, says Tyger.

Newer truck? Go to 2015-2020. Want to compare with a metal lid? See hard roll-ups, though the F-150 titles we found start at 2015.

If you are not sure which box you have, Ford's later documents give you the names to look for, 5.5 ft and 6.5 ft, and your tape does the rest.

What owners ask

Does a 2015 F-150 cover fit a 2014?

The Tyger titles do not say so. They split at that point: 2009-2014 at 6.5 ft and 2015-2020 at 5.5 ft. Titles that do span it, like MOSTPLUS, come with no sheet we could read. Go by the title and confirm with the seller.

What about a 2004-2008 F-150?

We did not pull a roll-up title for those years, even though people search for them. That is a gap in our data, not proof that none exist. Check with the maker or seller by year and box.

What is the 78 in on Tyger's title?

It is the title's own number for the 6.5 ft box. Ford's specification for a later model year gives 78.9 inches for that box. Measure yours to see where it falls and how that compares to what the seller says.
