The 2019 question
The 2019 Silverado is why this page has an odd name. In the titles, a 2019 could be either body. Tyger's title here says "2019 LD/Limited Only". Its new-body titles say "Not Fit 19 LD/Limited". MOSTPLUS's title says "2019 Classic/Legacy ONLY". BAK's title runs "2014-19". So BAK leaves the question open and needs a seller's answer.
If you have a 2019 and you cannot say which it is, stop here and find out. Everything else on this page depends on it.
The short bed
The only short-bed title we have for this block reads "2014-2019 Chevy Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 | 2019 Classic/Legacy ONLY On Top (5.8 FT Feed Bed) Fleetside". Listing data only. We did not find a Tyger title for this bed on these years, even though 2017 Silverado searches are among the most common on this block. If you are in that spot, a seller's confirmation is your best tool.
The standard bed in three spellings
Tyger says 6 ft 6 in (78 in). MaxMate says 6 ft 7 in (79 in). MOSTPLUS says 6.5 or 6.6 ft and 78.8 inch. Those are for the same trucks and the same years, and they do not agree. Measure your bed. If you land in the range they give, you are in the right place.
HD owners
Tyger's and MaxMate's titles name the 2015-2019 2500 and 3500 HD, which share the bed length with the 1500 in those titles. If you have an HD from 2020 or later, go to the HD page, where the titles use a different bed length.
Tools and what to look out for
T1 sheets list a ratchet wrench, a 10 mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver. The sheet for part TG-BC1C9007 has no drilling step. Clamps go on evenly, about 6 to 8 inches from the ends, and stay loose until everything is positioned. Check how to install for the rest, and see the bed liner answer if a liner laps over the rail.
Hard cover
BAK's Revolver X4s title runs 2014-19 for Silverado and Sierra 1500, with no bed. RealTruck lists a drill-free install and a 5-year warranty. See BAK. If you want a hard cover on a named bed, the Rough Country title is for the new body only, not this one.

How do I know whether my 2019 is an LD?
Your window sticker or dealer paperwork should say LD or Limited. If you cannot find it, ask a dealer with your VIN. Titles for the two bodies do not mix, so this one question sets which page you need.
6 ft 6 in or 6 ft 7 in?
Tyger says 6 ft 6 in (78 in), and MaxMate says 6 ft 7 in (79 in) for the same years and trucks. MOSTPLUS says 6.5 or 6.6 ft and 78.8 inch. These all point at the same standard bed. Measure to be sure.
Does this also fit the 2500HD?
